MSP Check

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

MSP Check ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use mspcheck.app and how we use it.

Information we collect

No account required. You can use MSP Check without creating an account or providing your name, email, or Social Security number.

Wizard answers. The state, household size, income, and asset figures you enter are processed entirely in your browser and in our server-side rendering layer to calculate your eligibility result. We do not store these answers in a database linked to your identity.

Optional email. If you choose to enter your email on the results page to receive a summary or reminders, that address is stored and used only for that purpose. We never sell or share it with third parties.

Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, time on site, approximate geographic region). These tools may set cookies and collect your anonymized IP address. They do not receive your wizard answers.

Cookies

MSP Check uses minimal cookies:

  • Session storage— your wizard progress is saved in your browser's sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab). Nothing is sent to our servers until you submit.
  • Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*). You can opt out via your browser settings or a browser extension like uBlock Origin.

How we use information

  • To calculate and display your MSP eligibility result.
  • To send you an eligibility summary email if you opted in.
  • To improve the tool based on anonymized usage patterns.
  • To diagnose technical errors.

We do not use your information to serve targeted advertisements, sell data to data brokers, or share identifiable information with third parties except as required by law.

Data retention

Opt-in email addresses are retained until you request deletion. Anonymized analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' and Vercel's standard retention policies (up to 14 months by default for Google Analytics).

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under CCPA (California), GDPR (EU/EEA), or other applicable laws to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at support@mspcheck.app.

Children's privacy

MSP Check is intended for adults (Medicare beneficiaries are generally 65+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be noted with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
